A stumbling figure moved with effort across the forest, blood staining his path as he walked slowly to somewhere safe to rest. He knew this territory was taken by others like him, but the pain and tiredness prevented him to go anywhere else. His hand trying to stop the bleeding at the end of his ribs, his throat swallowing the blood coming with each breath he took. He had been too distracted watching around the city and didn't noticed the knife until it was trespassing his flesh and puncturing his right lung. He killed the thief indeed but he was still angry to himself for being hurt by such a simple creature and being all his fault. This just made him hate humans more than before. Those creatures just cared for material things and their own benefit. His mind made him remember of his pack. They were not different from the humans though. The black haired man removed the thought from his head and kept moving.
Daiken looked at the light blue sky through the tree branches over his head. “At least it will be dark in a few hours.” His voice was low and tired. He preferred the tranquility and coldness of the night. A few more steps he found a nice spot with a thick trunk and other around, hiding him from unwanted guests. Lying down with his back against the tree, he let his eyes close and suppressed the want to shift into his true form. He didn't like to suffer with his actual wound during the transformation, knowing it could expand and cause more damage. 'Patience' he thought, trying to get at least a light sleep that didn’t come. There were too many things in his head. He stayed there with his eyes closed, hearing the natural sounds surrounding him.
