People was running and playing around under and over the snow, covering his head and black coat as he walked calmly to the shining hotel he could finally call home. Sighing deeply he couldn’t mind less of all the noise and movement around him. He was so tired, especially of being away for so long. It wasn’t a lot of time, but he felt it like decades. He could just think in thing, or actually, someone. He craved to see her, to watch her lips curve in that smile he loved, her shining emerald orbs that always made him gasp like the first time. Smiling with pure excitement and happiness, he looked at the green little person on the other side of the street, allowing him to cross along with other humans. The last memory he had of her, was her tranquil and soft features resting over the sheets of their bed as he kissed her very softly to not wake her up. He still regretted that he didn’t wake her up to say goodbye, but the sun was still resting, and so do her. It was surely going to be so hard to leave if she said another word to him, more than what she said the night before. He hoped he didn’t disappointed or upset her with that. Was she going to be on their room, or somewhere else? Somewhere inside the pack land, or maybe even outside the borders? No matter how much he wanted to sleep a bit, he had to find her first and make sure she was okay and that anything changed in Eternal or even the pack nearby. He had so much to do and the Alpha was so delayed with everything thanks to this trip. Sighing again, he looked at the snow resting over everything around him, giving such pure and calming look of clean white cotton. Who would say something so beautiful was as well something so cold it could even kill?
Making sure his ‘gift’, if you could call it that way, was okay under his coat, Daiken opened the huge doors to slip into the lobby, the snow and wind ending with the closing of the doors after him. Shivering slightly with the change of temperature, the huge suitcase in his right hand made its way to the floor slowly so he could remove the snow of his dark hair. His amber eyes moved around with the hope to find her there, but it seemed just some humans were around. New Year was coming and everyone was out of the city or buying presents or who know what. Taking his suitcase again, he walked to the elevator and pressed the button. As he reached the last floor, the doors opened and he appeared once more, his footsteps quiet as he reached their room. Resting his hand over the soft material, he smiled and whispered to the greeting doors, the only obstacle now. “Finally...” Taking his key, one he always took between his fingers every night for the last weeks, craving to use it again where it belongs, he slipped it into the space on the door and heard the lock getting removed to let him pass. Walking inside, his eyes looked at the lone living, exactly the same as it was before he left. Her smell all around him, wrapping him again warmly. He missed this so much, and her, much more.
